Islamic Charity Foundation's D'awah Project

 

Asalaamu Alaikum wa Rahamatullahi wa Barakatuhu Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

The Islamic Charity Foundation (ICF) has undertaken a “D'awah Project.” We are producing d'awah materials for Muslims to use in their d’awah to Muslims and non-Muslims in both English and Spanish. Our current line of materials includes:
  1. 8 audio lectures for Muslims and non-Muslims
  2. Pamphlets:
  3. Qu’rans in English and Spanish with no Arabic
  4. Books about Islam is English and Spanish
We have distributed over 250 Qur’ans, 3000 pamphlets, and 7000 CDs to various Masaajid, organizations, businesses, and Muslim Student Associations in only 5 months. This is a Project only done for the sake of Allah, and it is non-profit. May Allah put Barakah in this project. Ameen!

CD Project:

In short, in today’s age, most people, especially the youth, are listeners and not readers (mostly b/c of today’s media, the TV, and our fast-paced life style). So this is where the CD project comes into play. It makes it easy for people to learn about Islam because they don’t have to do much (which caters to their needs). Putting a CD in the car is as easy as turning on the television. Also, there is a lot more emotion and information that you can pack into a CD than one or two pamphlets.
